- 1775 March 5 Born Abagail Craven, Rockingham County, VA. (parents Maj. Robert Cravens, Jr. and Hestor Harrison)
- 1802 May 12 birth of son George Hays
- 1824 August 28 William Hays Warrant 9202 in Greene, TN (hard to read) dated 5 April 1824 rate 12 1/2 cents an acre thirty acres? “Blair? Fork of Lick Creek adjoining said Hay’s lease beginning at 2 forked oaks” and description continues back to beginning.
- 1857 March 13 Abigail Hays died Greene County, TN. Bethesda
- 1857 September 10 William Hays died Greene County, TN. Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery (no marker photo).
NOTE: Find-a-grave (no original source given) shows Williams spouse to be Abigail Hays and child to be Aaron Hays (1850 Census shows Aaron Hays family right after the George family entry). Aaron Hays (marker below) shows spouse Catherine Hays and children Mary E. Buford and Elizabeth Purcell. Catherine Neil Hays is buried in Cone Cemetery, Schuyler County, Missouri (photo below).
